Description: This position provides software development engineering services to support our product and systems development processes. As Shopify’s software engineer, you are responsible for coding, evolving, and maintaining software and systems for the business. You will work closely with product owners, product managers, and UX/UI designers to create effective and meaningful experiences for Shopify customers. You must be able to quickly adapt to changing project requirements, product features, and email or chat support needs.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelors in software engineering or relevant field, proven expertise in software engineering, experience working in software development or product engineering at a software company, understanding of systems architecture principles, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across teams, problem-solving, critical thinking and excellent organizational skills.
