Cloud Architect

Average Work Hours (weekly unless noted): 40-50 hours/week
Average Salary (yearly in dollars unless noted): $125,000 - $150,000
Description: The Cloud Architect position is responsible for the development, integration, deployment and maintenance of cloud-based systems, architectures and platforms for the organization. The successful candidate will employ best practices for cloud system design and development, leveraging IaaS, PaaS, SpAaaS, serverless technologies and more. The Cloud Architect should have well-developed skills in architecture, platform design, development and system integration. They will be comfortable collaborating with internal and external business/technical partners, participating in technical discussions and have experience making technology recommendations and tradeoff decisions.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant experience; 5+ years of experience working with Devops platforms, cloud computing infrastructure and cloud native services; experience implementing and managing CICD pipelines; experience in scripting and software development; AWS or GCP certified is a plus.
