Description: The Data Scientist position at GlobalWafers will be responsible for managing data, developing analysis, researching trends, and discovering new insights from data that can be used to improve daily operations. Responsible for designing and developing analytical methods, managing data sets, creating and maintaining data models, finding powerful and meaningful data visualizations, and providing decision support.
Qualifications / Requirements: Proficiency in SQL, data mining, data analytics, data modeling, machine learning, and knowledge discovery; experience working with large datasets and complex systems; strong numerical and analytical skills; ability to work with a variety of programming languages and develop advanced analytics queries; knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms; understanding of data architecture and data governance; ability to effectively communicate data insights.
