Description: This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining core BigCommerce products. The engineer will write code, test, and launch features, products and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, 5 years minimum software engineering, solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Proficiency in using version-control software. Good understanding of coding best practices such as unit testing and continuous integration.

Data Scientist

Description: This role involves making sure that data collected from BigCommerce customers and products is used in meaningful ways to increase the value of the business - from improving marketing campaigns to product development. To this end, the successful applicant needs experience in developing sophisticated algorithms and models that can be used to find hidden insight from the data.
Qualifications / Requirements: Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science with 3+ years of proven experience in the field of data science. DevOps Engineer

Description: This position is responsible for designing and maintaining the infrastructure for BigCommerce products and services. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies for server environments, databases, networking, and application services. The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining BigCommerce's systems.
Qualifications / Requirements: At least 8 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of networks and system engineering. Description: The Software Test Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and executing manual and automated tests for BigCommerce products. The successful candidate will be proficient in developing, testing and troubleshooting web applications and web services. The role is tasked with regularly reporting on the progress of testing cases, and proposing improvements to software processes.
Qualifications / Requirements: At least 5 years in a software quality assurance role. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing tests for web and mobile applications. Knowledge of automated test tools and frameworks such as Selenium, SOAPUI, and Jenkins. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Data Engineer
