Description: Responsible for providing technical solutions for customers and for engineering and deploying new cloud software products and applications. Must be able to design, code, and debug complex software applications in an established environment.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree plus relevant experience. Must have significant experience with web-based programming, databases, and mobile applications.

IT Security Manager

Average Work Hours (weekly unless noted): 40-45
Average Salary (yearly in dollars unless noted): 90K+
Description: Manage and secure AMEC’s IT systems and networks. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems. Monitor networks, systems, and user access, mitigate and prevent risks.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience leading IT security projects and initiatives, plus knowledge of security systems, architectures and protocols.

Systems Administrator

Average Work Hours (weekly unless noted): 35-45
Average Salary (yearly in dollars unless noted): 75K+
Description: Install, configure, maintain, and support IT systems including hardware and software, secure network accounts, and monitor system performance. Must ensure IT systems are updated with the latest patches and resolve any system malfunctions.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Must have 3+ years of experience in a systems administrator role. Must have knowledge of various operating systems and software.

Data Scientist

Description: Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to identify patterns, trends, insights and correlations. Build and maintain predictive models, visualize data, and collaborate with other departments in support of critical business decisions.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math or related field. Must have experience with developing algorithms, machine learning and/or statistical analysis. Data engineering skills in Python, SQL and Big Data analytics are a plus.

Software Developer

Description: Develop, maintain and support software products and applications. Responsible for creating systems to meet specific customer requirements. Must strive to achieve optimal coding efficiency, review and analyze client requirements and code changes.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Must have 4+ years of experience developing software or programming. Excellent knowledge of programming languages, development environments and techniques.

Database Engineer

Description: Responsible for the design and implementation of database structures for large-scale applications. Support database solutions, perform database maintenance and troubleshoot problems.
Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Must have at least 5 years of experience working with Oracle, MySQL and/or other database technologies. Expertise in database optimization and security is desired.
